“Hearing loss is the second most prevalent health issue globally. Approximately 90 percent of tinnitus cases (ringing in the ear) occur with underlying hearing loss. The prevalence of tinnitus is usually correlated with level or degree of hearing loss.

Tinnitus affects 20 percent and hearing loss occurs in 90 percent of those cases. Additionally, statistics show even those patients with a mild hearing loss are twice as likely to develop dementia.

We welcome you to come to learn about proven technologies, tools and therapies that can minimize the burden of tinnitus and hearing loss and improve the quality of your life.” said Dr. Roufos from Manhattan Audiology.
